When a chapter ends.
This is a special little post because it marks the end of a long collaboration with our favorite translator, Abbie. And yes, as in any good story, the characters meet, go on a journey together and then leave each other. With me being the main character in my story, Abbie has been a source of motivation for me. She is far from unrelated to the fact that the blog now has over 626 posts and the majority of them have been translated by her. SoloMotivation refers to the fact that it is possible to motivate yourself, but on a road as long as this one, I have to say that she has made it much easier for me. A weight she was able to share with me. With Abbie being the main character in Abbie’s story, we crossed paths because of her willingness to share her talent with people like me.
This kind of adventure is not uncommon, but taking the road that brought us together is not common either. The road to entrepreneurship is becoming more and more popular and will allow many to experience what Abbie and I have.
Although this is the end of one chapter, it is definitely the beginning of another for me and another for Abbie. A new chapter begins where the main character is different from the previous chapter. They are transformed by the experiences they have had. I wish us both success and happiness. Thank you, Abbie!
I encourage you to read the English version of this post. Perhaps Abbie has left a few words there. Who knows 😀
Well, well, well. The end of a long and wonderful chapter has arrived. First of all, Danny, it has been such a pleasure working with you for almost two years – I can’t quite believe it has been so long! You mentioned in your post that I was a motivation for you, but truthfully, I see you as a motivation for not only myself but for those who read these posts and those around you. Every single time I translate one of your blog posts, I learn something new. You have a marvellous mind and the wisdom you impart on others is inspiring.
Whilst it is sad that this chapter is closing, I want to take a moment to be grateful that it happened. In the freelance world, it is not often that you have the opportunity to work with a client so closely and build such a great professional relationship, but you and I have been able to do that and for me, that has been a real pleasure. I wish you the best of luck with whatever you do next and I hope that you continue to inspire and motivate those who are lucky enough to be around you. Merci pour tout! 😀
