When the world could turn virtual
What if our requirements for physical reality would go down and move to the virtual one? Let’s dive into this. I don’t need to recall you all the SciFi around this kind of reality, but we are now at a point where the world could be challenged by a virtual one.
Let’s compare the two worlds. In one world, you have real humans. You still need a roof, a primary healthy environment and you need to take care of your body the best you can. You still need medical support available and basic food to eat. You must accept the world the way your senses present it to you. Whatever if you find it ugly, noisy, smelly or too cold, hot, dry or wet, you need to go with it.
The virtual world doesn’t have any smell or skin feeling (except for some vibration features), but it can give you full control over what you see and what you hear. You still need some basic features, but you can definitely earn money by working in the virtual world. I’ll stop here.
Eventually, drones will become remote operated machines, and without any human around a construction plant, security will get another meaning. Physical-world will always remain, but the way we will split our focus between the human-machine world and the virtual one will definitely be something interesting to see for the future generation.
