When you don’t know what to think any more
I’ll continue with my curveball about Iran. I hope you can forgive me. Let’s see. Still today, there is radio silence on the Twittersphere. How can we expect to remain silent in the face of such a situation?
According to Wikipedia, several such cases have occurred since 1938. Whether these cases have simply been swept under the carpet or whether sanctions have been introduced, it is difficult to see that anything has really changed in recent years. Although the last incident of this kind involved a much more “dangerous” country, militarily speaking – in other words, a country which has the means not to let itself be fooled and to brave the international community – this kind of situation still speaks volumes about the leaders in the suspected or even formally responsible countries.
Why hasn’t this subject caused more of a Twitter reaction? Is it fear? Is it the seriousness of the subject? It goes without saying that the world is full of injustices and suffering, but I believe that people in positions of power, democratically or not, who can avoid this kind of responsibility represents an alarming failure of the human race. What do you think?
