When you search for your words.
Obviously, searching for your words in the context of writing is not a pleasant thing. Even more so these days, the pandemic has drastically reduced our brain stimulation and demand, which I think has an impact on our view of the world. The world seems duller, more linear, unsurprisingly. However, the world has not changed. The animal and plant kingdom, for example, is completely unaware of this pandemic, if only because of our voluntary slowing down of activities. Indeed, the pandemic will have had this effect on our lifestyle, but the number of deaths, with all due respect for the victims and their loved ones, seen from an outside perspective, will have an impact on the statistics of life expectancy, particularly regarding the end of life. Elderly people, often in very bad shape, will have seen their last days pass in suffering and loneliness. This is one of the tragedies of this crisis.
Getting back to our missing words, it takes movement to create movement, even in our brains. That is why the return to normal will not so much be a return to normal, but rather a new normal that I hope will allow us all to reinvent ourselves in memory of the victims.
