When you simply just write.
The writing exercise is not so much in the writing itself, but in what you would like to read. Let me explain. As a reader, I’m able to believe in my urges to read. For example, if you were to take all the reading you’ve done in the last few years, it would probably consist of several elements. These elements, whether they are current affairs, non-fiction, fiction of any kind, can be carried out for three reasons. They can be read out of desire, necessity or convenience.
In my case, I try to write texts that resemble what I would like to read, if I had all the time in the world. There is, however, a paradox in all of this. This paradox also exists in fiction or non-fiction. Sometimes the reader, after reading, wants to write these texts themself. For example, in the case of opinion texts, we might, after reading one of these texts, also want to share our opinion. This is the principle of social networks, so to speak. The only exception, I would say, is that in my case, they are rather reflective texts more than reactionary. It’s also much more elegant if you ask me.
