When a picture is worth a thousand words.
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
This is the twenty-second in a series of posts reflecting on our willingness to remember and the quality of that knowledge. These posts should be read in order of publication. Starting with number six, for example, would make no sense to the reader. Happy reading!
It is exactly at this precise moment, when you start reading between the lines, that the other skills come into play. Remember the thirteenth post? Here is the list:
- Sensory perception;
- Corresponds to a channel that can be associated with an innate skill, but can also be improved;
- Memory;
- Requires skill;
- Speech / Language;
- Require both knowledge and skill;
- Emotion;
- Requires skill;
- Reason;
- Requires skill;
- Imagination;
- Requires skill;
- Intuition;
- Requires skill. Although in the field of reason, imagination and memory, corresponds to a subconscious channel in the same way as sensory perception;
- Faith;
- Requires both knowledge and skill.
Therefore, in a communication aiming at generating a movement, we must take into consideration the interpretation of sensory signals, the history of our relationship with our interlocutor as well as our previous communications, the warped meaning of words, the underlying emotions, mainly our own, previous, current and future reasoning, the latter involving our imagination and intuition. Finally, consider the object of our own faith as well as that of our interlocutor.
To be continued…
