When you think of the next ones.

This is the twen­ty-sixth in a series of posts reflec­ting on the gene­ral decline of civi­li­ty. These posts should be read in order of publi­ca­tion. Star­ting with num­ber six, for example, would make no sense to the rea­der. Hap­py reading!

If we return to our main sub­ject, it’s cer­tain that adop­ting a civil atti­tude requires a cer­tain vision of the world. First­ly, we must want our own good. This step is fair­ly com­mon for eve­ryone, but some people still lose faith in their own exis­tence. In such a case, we must turn to com­mu­ni­ty sup­port. Everyone’s iso­la­tion can only lead to exis­ten­tial drift. In fact, we define our­selves by our­selves, but inter­ac­tions with others are our can­vas, our model. This model, which in fact does not actual­ly exist, is conti­nuous­ly evol­ving. We can’t assume that our thoughts and beha­viors can be per­fect, we can only approach it, without ever rea­ching it.

I’m ending this series of posts here consi­de­ring that I have said enough about civi­li­ty. My dea­rest wish would be that we take care of each other in order to give our­selves the chance to conti­nue our jour­ney into a more mature and higher qua­li­ty society.
