When you think of the next ones.
This is the twenty-sixth in a series of posts reflecting on the general decline of civility. These posts should be read in order of publication. Starting with number six, for example, would make no sense to the reader. Happy reading!
If we return to our main subject, it’s certain that adopting a civil attitude requires a certain vision of the world. Firstly, we must want our own good. This step is fairly common for everyone, but some people still lose faith in their own existence. In such a case, we must turn to community support. Everyone’s isolation can only lead to existential drift. In fact, we define ourselves by ourselves, but interactions with others are our canvas, our model. This model, which in fact does not actually exist, is continuously evolving. We can’t assume that our thoughts and behaviors can be perfect, we can only approach it, without ever reaching it.
I’m ending this series of posts here considering that I have said enough about civility. My dearest wish would be that we take care of each other in order to give ourselves the chance to continue our journey into a more mature and higher quality society.
What will you do now to make the lives of your fellow citizens, and in turn, your own, better and happier?
The End.
