When you get lost in the forest.
This is the third in a series of posts reflecting on the importance of our actions and what we do to contribute to something, and ideally, something greater. These posts should be read in order of publication. Starting with number six, for example, would make no sense to the reader. Happy reading!
I’ll admit, this subject won’t be easy. I firmly intend, once I’ve caught up, to go back to lighter posts. Let’s go for it anyway.
We are raised, we are educated, we are trained. We are trained to play our part in the System. Ah, the famous System. Let’s remember that this System is the result of our carelessness. A prison, like a drug whose insidious addiction clings to us until it makes us slaves to its will. Be careful, some will see it as a conspiracy and manipulation for the benefit of others, and although it is natural to look for a culprit other than ourselves, we are unfortunately in a paradox that makes it difficult to think otherwise.
Indeed, the source of our misfortune is so far away, so distant, that it is almost impossible for us to distinguish it. And the System strikes again, even for conspiracy. It is easier for our mind to develop a logic of exoneration towards others. A logic which, if we wanted to validate, is so obvious that it makes us blind to its circularity. Wow, I just used a word that I don’t think I’ve ever used in this blog before. 😆
To be continued…
