When it must come down to the evidence.

I lis­te­ned to this while wri­ting this post, try it while you read.

Here is the trend curve of the tri­bute to the late George Floyd.

7 short hours. 7 short hours, a few tens of thou­sands of tweets in his name, in his memo­ry and nothing more, and this only in the Uni­ted States, because elsew­here, nothing. How sad to see that the soul (spi­ri­tual or sym­bo­lic) of a per­son deserves no more than waves of anger and vio­lence. While I send my condo­lences to the fami­ly of this icon, I can only sym­pa­thize with them and with the memo­ry they will keep of the days fol­lo­wing the death of their loved one.

Is the world so indi­vi­dua­lis­tic that any cause is good for a diver­sion of inter­est? I will stop here and leave the remai­ning moments to reflect in silence on the future conse­quences of the events of the past few days.
