When a label is difficult to remove
Sometimes, life brings us to a place that does not interest us. Let’s see why. In the last Motivation post <172>, I told you about the path already laid out for us, which reassured us by taking away any decisions to make. How is this problematic? And although limiting our identity to our role in the System is all too limiting. I remind you, everything is a question of balance. There is nothing wrong with using a profession to define yourself, but we do not limit ourselves to that. As far as I am concerned, I am me. People call me Danny. My name is not Danny. Am I more a Danny than I am a Mark or a Martin? I know that I am me. In my wife’s eyes, I am her partner. My definition continues with her definition of me. Although she makes up a part of the real me, my wife doesn’t totally know a part of me, and I as well do not know a part of her. But is that what it’s all about?
The definition of Me
