When you have to make do
Let’s wrap up yesterday’s thinking. Let’s get on with it. You see, it’s not quite as easy as that to incorporate a change into our routine. Optimising our time takes time. It requires calculating the risk of wasting our time. A bit like finding a possible shortcut, but it’s not guaranteed. I’m not talking about the little “life hacks” that we see everywhere. I must admit that these tutorials, although entertaining, offer little appeal, because they regularly tackle a very minor area of our needs which we can often do without.
Removing something we already do
requires two major changes. Logic would like it to be the easiest way possible,
but old habits die hard and don’t let themselves be put to one side so easily.
This is how I am slowly
approaching my 200th post, and I can proudly say that today, I have
completely caught up. The habit of taking the time to write my blog posts and
thanks to Abbie, for using her presence to discipline me. But then, does that
mean that the Solo Motivation is a failure?
To be continued…
