When motivation is not about others
Dear family, friends and coworkers. Here is a message from us. Read carefully. Have you ever wanted to create something and while in a hurry to share with someone, they immediately start talking about the worst instead of the best? Well, this is quite usual for anyone to want to share passion, but it is also usual for anyone to be afraid for others as we don’t want any collateral problems. Selfish? Who’s not? We are all individuals living together and trading time and value. Sometimes, it is with a relative, sometimes with a coworker or a client.
There are things we cannot share as the rest; emotions. Emotions are not like ideas of intellectual concepts. An idea can be shared and explained. Emotions can be expressed, but depending on the medium, we may not react the same way as the initiator expected. Movies, painting, music and other arts are common channels to transmit emotions.
Regarding motivation, speeches, music and other inspirational vehicle are common ways to generate motivation in others. Unfortunately, motivational empathy is not as popular as general emotional empathy. We may be more delicate about understanding a happy person than a motivated person.
