When you ask: How to tie a bowtie?

Here is a small series of posts that cover the most asked questions on Google. Most of these questions won’t be answered here. However, I might, for fun, give an answer if I personally know it. It’s mostly to have fun with why people ask so many questions.

Well, I must confess that I don’t know how to do this. If I go back to the post about the tie knot, it was said that if you don’t tie a knot on a regular basis, you probably won’t remember how to do it. A bow tie is no exception to the rule.

However, you might ask yourself where such fashion comes from. Firstly, before being worn to stand out, fabrics worn around the neck were made simply to protect from the cold or to absorb sweat. Worn by all, those more stylish had to start bringing variety in their design and appearance. And finally, this fashion was born.

As these pieces of fabric had to be knotted, the art of the distinct knot had to be practiced and then spread until certain groups adopted them, thus contributing even more to them being spread among the population. Thanks to the internet, we now have access to all kinds of knots, whether for ties, scarves or other fabrics. It’s up to you to choose the ones you want to experiment with!
