When everything becomes fast food
The human race being as it is, the same goes for everything that we touch becoming a little dirty. Let’s have a look at what this means. Today is World Photography Day, however, it seems to me that this day is not necessarily what it was many years ago. In the same way we have turned to more and more instantaneous food, many elements of our consumption gradually turn towards this model. The appreciation of finesse is a lost art, and I must admit, this makes me a little sad. Unfortunately for me, I am also a victim of this global approach.
Let me explain myself a little better. Thanks to technology, our production of exceptional quality photos has reached astronomical amounts, so much so that reality can sometimes seem boring. That is why we must, and I know it isn’t the natural thing to do, resist these urges that emerge amongst our genuine needs and amplify our desires, leaving us with satisfying experiences which are just as intense as they are short-lived. But don’t be fooled, I will be the first to be surprised by a radical change.
