When the world is restraining its evolution
The international workers day. I get it. Is it me or doesn’t it sound 20th Century? Let’s jump into this. Let’s take Wikipedia’s introduction as a ground to our thought. It goes like this: “[…] is a celebration of labourers and the working classes […]”. Then it goes with political and sociological concepts I will not bring here. My first question is: What are the working classes and who are not the working classes? Wikipedia has still a nice page for that (Wikipedia may not be perfect, but I like it, feel free to donate J, I do it), it goes like this: “[…] comprises those engaged in waged or salaried labour, especially in manual-labour occupations and industrial work.[…]”. What is this specification is all about? And then it goes to the worst with this collar colour thing. Disgusting.
What about a world where farmers, carpenters, electricians, computer scientists, medical specialists and other occupations are working together, living together, sharing knowledge, learning from the passion of their friends, organizing themselves around a healthy meal, sharing their feelings. Isolation and segmentation is our real enemies. Let’s not fall into this. Unfortunately, this may require decades. Let’s use the same energy we use for the green thing but our collective well being.
