When everything has its day
Twitter is a fast pace platform where topics are waiting their turn to get their trending place to the top 10 list. But like the rest of the internet, everything can claim for its right for a place in the big picture. Let’s think about this a bit more. The fight for a day is quite special. Depending on what your intentions are, you can get one out of 365 days of the year. I didn’t go through all the Wikipedia list, but good luck to find a free spot. You can, if you want, divide the international to national scope for your day. At this point, you are also splitting your potential market. And you can split it again, and again until you reach yourself. Why not attributing a special meaning to all 365 days of the year but just for you? Not a bad idea considering that our birthday is the only default one. So is it just about marketing? I don’t think so. Even if marketers found their good old anchors there, we can still think that these special dates are there to remind us of something we care about.
