When we mistrust.

Listened while writing this post, try while reading it :o)

This post is the seventh in a series which looks at the evolution of what is left of what we call democracy in my nation. These posts are best read in the order they were published. Starting at the 6th post in the series, for example, will mean that nothing makes sense to you, dear reader. Happy reading!

Morality is a very strange thing. If you ever have the strength, because let me tell you it requires a substantial amount of energy, I would invite you to read The Theory of Moral Sentiments by Adam Smith, which you may recall I mentioned in a previous post. In this work Smith assigns certain motivations to behaviours which could at first seem dubious. He cites that in most cases a right can often justify a wrong, but going on this premise, morality becomes totally relative. Some may agree, some may disagree, but who can really say? I have often heard it said that the justification for any sort of abuse of trust is based on the principle of ‘kill or be killed.’ If you’ve been following me for a while you may be able to guess my stance on this subject-I do not believe in this never ending war between people.

Politics is no exception to this rule and therefore I am loath to believe in the system as it is. The view that ‘the people will always be the people’, and that there will always be a need for a shepherd of sorts to guide them in a certain direction is not something I agree with, but without this would we be faced with a stampede of unruly sheep? And who would protect them from the wolves?

Until next time…

Coach Danny

See in me a trustworthy person who will not disappoint you. Although, like you, I have to work to make a living, your well being is my main interest and together we will find goals to make you feel fulfilled and proud of you. It has nothing to do with your bank account, your physical appearance or your material assets. Let’s be clear, we are working on fundamental levers for every human, whether you are a homeless person or part of royalty, you have these same levers. I’m Danny (aka CoachDanny). The people I work with are few, but they all have one thing in common. They share a common goal, self-fulfillment and more.
