When you look for sleep.

In my pre­vious post, I men­tio­ned a change in my slee­ping habits. I think it’s strange that sleep is beco­ming a big­ger part of my dai­ly rou­tine, but I’m doing a lot less phy­si­cal work during the day. Not to men­tion that all that sepa­rates me from my bed and desk are a few stairs. I’d be incli­ned to think that this isn’t very healthy.

First­ly, because my excess weight, although stable, won’t go away on its own. I must admit that I am over­weight. Far be it from me, although it has often cros­sed my mind, to have a body with a sculp­ted appea­rance. I can phy­si­cal­ly feel my excess weight. It is present on the inside before it is present on the out­side. I feel that my organs are res­tric­ted by excess packa­ging. My brea­thing and diges­tion are affec­ted. They are both less effi­cient. This, in turn, obvious­ly affects my sleep. This is not my first expe­rience with weight control and I can say that yes, my sleep, through my brea­thing, is affected.

We’ll see how it all plays out in the coming months.
