When the choices aren’t to our liking.
This is the eighteenth in a series of posts reflecting on the importance of our actions and what we do to contribute to something, and ideally, something greater. These posts should be read in order of publication. Starting with number six, for example, would make no sense to the reader. Happy reading!
Did you understand the second choice? I’ll take the liberty of going a little further on this one. So I was talking about the end approach. The legacy from one generation to another. The first element in my opinion was the detailed, explained, demonstrated history of experimentation, trial and error. This legacy is of great value. It obviously includes knowledge, which is the source of competence. This is the encyclopedic principle but in a survivalist-intellectual way. Do you remember our knowledge conservation project? This is precisely what we’re talking about.
When a person passes through the earth only taking, not giving, it is inexplicably sad and pathetic. So let’s tackle the third option, the human approach.
3. The human approach is an approach whereby a person would like to contribute to a better society by contributing to the establishment of a climate and conditions favorable to its evolution. Obviously, not everyone has a passion for knowledge. That’s why making sure that people choosing option 2 can achieve their goal is a more than rewarding option.
