When you refocus.
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
This is the first in a series of posts reflecting on the importance of our actions and what we do to contribute to something, and ideally, something greater. These posts should be read in order of publication. Starting with number six, for example, would make no sense to the reader. Happy reading!
I don’t know about you, but I’m a little out of breath from this sprint marathon of writing. Not that I don’t love writing, but sometimes inspiration reaches a point where it feels like it’s repeating itself. In fact, I don’t think that’s really a problem. In fact, I think it’s quite a good thing. Of course, if we keep repeating ourselves and it’s getting pointed out, take the time to analyze the situation, maybe there’s a problem. But if we reflect on previous ideas, I think that’s healthy.
I invite you to think about your last few days, what you thought, said, did. Do you feel like you are repeating your ideas, words or actions without realizing it, or are you aware you’re doing it?
If we could break free from this routine habit, what could we do to replace it? How could we avoid being just passers-through, extras in our own lives? How could we ensure that we are contributing to what really matters?
To be continued…
