When you summarize.
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
This is the thirty-fourth in a series of posts reflecting on our willingness to remember and the quality of that knowledge. These posts should be read in order of publication. Starting with number six, for example, would make no sense to the reader. Happy reading!
From here on, I will slowly move towards a conclusion, if a conclusion can be well established. Performance and efficiency are important concepts. Humans have always sought to do more with the least amount of effort. If this weren’t the case, gyms would be an essential service and full to bursting point. Making an effort requires, above all, exactly that, making an effort. As in physics, nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed. In order to produce a movement, we must put in energy.
We go to school, and as I tell my children, love school and school will love you. Feeling loved is important, especially for a child, even if they are not aware of it. At school, we invest time and acquire skills and knowledge. Later on, we enter the job market and invest more time, knowledge and know-how in exchange for a salary and a socio-economic purpose. Then, for the more fortunate, we exchange our assets for other forms of benefits that interest us. And so on and so forth.
Invest, receive, in a different way. Hmm. It’s pretty simple in the end. I think I’ll stop here with efficiency.
The End.
