When we’re trying to reach our goal.
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
This is the twenty-ninth in a series of posts reflecting on our willingness to remember and the quality of that knowledge. These posts should be read in order of publication. Starting with number six, for example, would make no sense to the reader. Happy reading!
Producing maximum results with minimum effort and means. In a context where we would like to put forward our respective needs, there may already be a gap in perception. It is possible that the expected result will be different, even if the foundations of the movement are mutually agreed upon. Let’s look at a diagram to understand this.

We can see in the diagram above that two individuals will very rarely start from the same starting point. Whether in terms of skills, knowledge or otherwise. The vector, the arrow, represents movement. The point of origin is the point of departure and the point of arrival, the target offering the desired results. The length of the vector represents the change, the effort required to reach the target.
We can see that the effort required will be different for each individual and that the result depends on the effort. Candidate B must put in an extra effort to achieve the desired result. An equivalent amount of effort would mean that this candidate would not reach the target. While this would bring them closer to meeting their need, it is clear that Candidate A would reach the target not faster, but with less effort.
To be continued…
