When it’s time to get your money’s worth.
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
This is the twenty-eighth in a series of posts reflecting on our willingness to remember and the quality of that knowledge. These posts should be read in order of publication. Starting with number six, for example, would make no sense to the reader. Happy reading!
Of course, not everyone is an athlete. I, myself, am not. However, there are a multitude of reasons why I would agree to participate in such an exercise. It would bring me personal satisfaction as well as a sense of reducing accountability to my partner. It could also be to fulfil a role in an already established relationship or to develop a new one for the future. A parental, friendly or even professional relationship would be good reasons. I think these reasons would be more likely to be the predominant ones in this type of partnership.
Identifying what the other might get out of it is the third step in reasoning. Failure to complete this step may lead to trial and error before finding an interested partner. We can even pre-determine this person’s reasoning and present the advantages of our proposal to help them structure their reasoning.
Returning to the mutual reasoning through which we would like to conclude that we are moving forward, there is one important element to consider. If we go back to the concept of producing maximum results with minimum effort and means, what can we deduce from this for our reasoning?
To be continued…
