When you grow up.
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
This is the twenty-fifth in a series of posts reflecting on our willingness to remember and the quality of that knowledge. These posts should be read in order of publication. Starting with number six, for example, would make no sense to the reader. Happy reading!
Keeping a diary, private or better yet, public, is an enjoyable discipline. It is, in my opinion, the first step, and one over which we personally have control and that we can easily take.
Considering that we are getting better at verbalizing our ideas, we can then focus on sharing this information in order to do things better.
From this point on, we enter a cloudy area. The idea is to align the world with our vision of the world and let it adapt that vision. If we start with the idea that our vision will be perfectly integrated into the world with which we interact, we are embarking on a very difficult journey. In my opinion, we need to find a balance between adopting and adapting the world. If this concept is true for us and we believe it offers the best avenue for everyone, we must start with this point.
Global rigidity can only lead to breaks, either in us or in others. On the other hand, too much fluidity makes building things very difficult, by offering foundations that are so unpredictable that any development project will be just as unpredictable.
To be continued…
