When you’re doing better.
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
This is the first in a series of posts reflecting on our interest in the effectiveness and efficiency of our actions and activities. These posts should be read in order of publication. Starting with number six, for example, would make no sense to the reader. Happy reading!
Have you ever felt that what you were asked to do was unnecessarily complex and that you had a better idea of how you should do things? This feeling is very personal and generates emotions within us. These emotions, born in an array of conflicting facts, consume our energy and require management and time that we could avoid.
The series of posts that I will offer you is a reflection on this subject. How do we come to the conclusion that we are right and others are wrong. This simple certainty can be biased and unless we realize it for ourselves, it leads us into a binary introspection where we are good and others are bad.
In order to see this more clearly, I suggest that we take a few moments to reflect on the question and who knows, maybe we will find a solution that will allow us to do things better, alone or in a group. I suggest that we start by analyzing our individual effectiveness, which will naturally lead us to group effectiveness. But first of all, let’s start by clearly defining what we call effectiveness and how it is different from efficiency.
Once again, happy reading!
To be continued…
