Gradually, humans have learned to take advantage of different traits depending on their environment. Some have developed traits related to physical abilities, others to physical traits, and then others to intellectual abilities. An improbable mix that generated different cultures that one day came into contact with each other. Once again, a difficult natural selection has taken place, obliterating the civilizations least able to survive and favoring the most adapted.
During these changes, exchanges took place, sometimes by force, sometimes by barter. Nevertheless, it is possible that some civilizations may have manipulated opportunities to draw others into their culture. The arts are a means of transmitting part of that culture. The arts work in both directions. They are generated from culture, but when they return, as time has passed, they are reabsorbed by evolving the original culture. Much in the same way that I am influenced by my blog when I read it again. I wrote it myself, but reading it two or three months later will influence my future evolution. The arts are like a little chronological capsule.
