When we distance ourselves.

I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)

This is the nineteenth in a series of posts reflecting on our willingness to remember and the quality of that knowledge. These posts should be read in order of publication. Starting with number six, for example, would make no sense to the reader. Happy reading!

This natural curiosity and inclination to always look for new ways of doing things must have, over time, developed an appetite that has never stopped growing. According to the theory of natural selection, we could try to do the same thing with the human mind. Why did humans stand out from the animal kingdom? Opposable thumb, standing on two legs? Indeed, according to my understanding, these elements are due to the consequences or causes of certain changes, certain opportunities. But the environment. The environment is, in my opinion, the greatest architect of the beings on this path.

A hostile environment had to force humans to stand on these hind legs continuously and the strongest among us, the most enduring, had a better chance of survival, choosing their genetic traits to continue into the future. An environment offering both opportunities and challenges for evolution has certainly led to the advent of technology via the first tools, for example. At the time, equality and equity was the survival of the fittest, but nature played a trick on us that we should not have expected. It gave us a gift, quite special you might say, but a gift of great richness. It gave us sympathy.

See in me a trustworthy person who will not disappoint you. Although, like you, I have to work to make a living, your well being is my main interest and together we will find goals to make you feel fulfilled and proud of you. It has nothing to do with your bank account, your physical appearance or your material assets. Let’s be clear, we are working on fundamental levers for every human, whether you are a homeless person or part of royalty, you have these same levers. I’m Danny (aka CoachDanny). The people I work with are few, but they all have one thing in common. They share a common goal, self-fulfillment and more.
