When you get back in the saddle.
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
This post is the eighteenth in a series of posts about a reflection on our ability to socially evolve. These posts should be read in the order of their publication. For example, starting with the 6th would make no sense to the reader. Happy reading!
So I’ve talked to you about the importance of expertise. And if we come back to our small community, uniting the workforce and the experts, why is it so important?
Firstly, we have increased our standard of living. We live better, for longer and free from many dangers and suffering. And so on, each time we have added a stone to the castle that we have built for ourselves, we have added a watchman to make sure that the stone stays in place. We have also set up a system to replace these stones because, when they are too worn out, they are replaced. Thus, little by little, we have moved further away from this ground and have slowly considered this ground as our new ground.
This new ground, which is now several meters high, now relies on everyone to protect its foundations. Some people, dizzy with vertigo, dream of returning to the real ground. Going back to their roots, as they say. Among them, some choose voluntary exodus, others, unable to live by themselves while being completely detached from the rest of humanity, in the grip of strong emotional dependence, protest and disturb in order to convince the masses to change their way of life.
To be continued…
