When you give without taking.
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
Today, the Internet seems to be showing signs of returning to normal. Is this a sign that the global crisis is behind us? Let’s see. What could be better in a job crisis than taking time for others and for yourself? The mad race to accumulate wealth is exciting and it resonates something immediate within us. The lure of gain, true gain, the one that generates this desire we have within us to go further.
However, we all know that the gain is not just monetary. It can be of any other nature and generate in us just as much energy and satisfaction. Not-for-profit activities, on the other hand, are somewhat complex. They must be both self-financed and not generate unnecessary surpluses. Does this mean that the average contributor has to settle for the minimum?
I don’t think this is an objective. The mission of an NPO (non-profit organization) is just as noble and important as that of other organizations. These organizations do not have to be satisfied with others’ leftovers and must be able to count on a qualified and quality workforce.
Either way, there is no need to do things officially or for free. But accumulating wealth isn’t just about giving themselves big bonuses. Earning can be a way to ensure the sustainability of our adventure.
