When we run out of subjects.
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
I must admit that the world seems pretty dull these days. Let’s think about it for a moment. First of all, this is not a conclusion, but an adjustment. Adding blue to a mix of paints will never make it red, so if our goal is to make red, our actions only allow us to notice two things:
- We know nothing about colour;
- We don’t really want to make red.
Obviously, it’s not a question of visual colour, but of the colour of the world. If you want to have a world where values of peace, citizenship and respect prevail, a world where ethics prevail, you must immediately stop all cynicism, all sarcasm. Intolerance of non-ethical behaviour must become the norm.
When I speak of intolerance, it must begin with us. It must then apply to our closest fellow human being. I told you in a previous post about the vision of the world that we wanted. It is high time to look at it and do it right away. We don’t have any more time to waste.
So who wants to start this project? Where might you already know of one? Have you read Asimov’s novel Foundation?
