When happiness is a matter of perspective.
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
Really? Let’s think about it for a moment. So if it’s a matter of perspective, can we be happy without knowing it? I have to admit that this is the opinion that I am leaning towards the most. So many people seek to reach it, but never really see it. However, some people around them do not understand why their friend is not happy because they see all the ingredients for possible happiness in that person’s life.
Other people seem to lack everything and have, in their words, found perfect happiness. Others discovered it “by chance”, others found it by achieving a dream, but a few months later it seems to have slowly disappeared.
Therefore, happiness is short-lived. It is, on the other hand, always present. You could even say it’s a feeling of bliss. Feeling light, well and at peace seems to be a good definition to me. Seeing a glass half full rather than half empty is, after all, a matter of perspective.
So, will you know how to take a moment to reflect and see if you feel good, light and at peace, and if not, what could help you feel that way?
