Finally, the gaming comeback. I’ll admit that I wouldn’t say no. Let’s see. How many of you are gamers? Whether it’s Solitaire, Minesweeper, or some kind of board game, we all have a part of us that games. Some people make their work a game, others are into gambling. One thing is certain, scientists have increasingly been researching the influences that gaming has on our personal and social behaviour for a long time now.
Gaming is the subject of several sequences of intellectual calculations, but it is particularly famous among researchers for the innumerable biases of which we are victims, thus making our judgment totally irrational.
Far be it from me to ban gaming, quite the contrary, it has the power to bring together, in different ways, the most mixed groups. It has a strong educational power coupled with an important retention factor because it generates sincere emotions. However, it is important to know that gaming can be a double-edged sword and that it should be used with care. So my advice would be, play in moderation, but have fun and find the fun in everything you do!
