When there’s continuity.
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
I’m going to dive into this post without a topic in mind, let’s see what happens. Another day goes by, another day ends and tomorrow will be another day. Since this crisis, every day seems to be the same, but is that really the case?
I think that if the days seem similar, it’s because we are taking the time to analyse them. In a pre-crisis context, we were generally too busy and exhausted to look at the true nature of each day that passed, yet they all had something in common.
They began by waking up, being aware of the day before us. Then we embarked on a series of routine activities depending on the day of the week and we quickly sped through our routine to finish the day with an incredible deceleration.
Exhausted, we were waiting for one thing; the end of the working week so that we could have some time to breathe and rest. But now, we have a lot of free time. This free time allows us to think about each day and see that, ultimately, it’s not that bad.
