When you have to get back into a routine
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
This post is the last of a series of ten posts about certain aspects of our lives during the COVID-19 crisis. These posts must be read in order, starting with the 6th post would make absolutely no sense to the reader. Enjoy reading and above all, enjoy reflecting.
Eventually, there will be a phase of acceptance. Slowly, it will affect almost all of us and move us on to something else.
The last phase is divided into two branches. Revenge and retrospective learning.
The first will look for a culprit in the crisis. A new inquisition will take place with both the remnants of declining fear and the anger fumes that led to suffering as a motivator. This suffering will be a power source for some time, but will gradually give way to inertia as the main people involved flee, worn out by the natural resistance of behavioural gravitation.
The second will offer some hope for the future. It is a natural gateway to the ranks of the sceptical prophets and will give you a glimpse of a different and more peaceful way to handle a crisis for those who will have the clear-headedness to see it. Some sceptical prophets might reach out, but most of them, preferring the security of anonymity, will remain silent and return to their research.
What about you? How have you experienced, are experiencing or will experience this crisis on a personal level? Will you be your own source of light in this darkness?
