When you have to get back into a routine
I listened to this while writing this post, try it while you read :o)
This post is the third of a series of ten posts about certain aspects of our lives during the COVID-19 crisis. These posts must be read in order, starting with the 6th post would make absolutely no sense to the reader. Enjoy reading and above all, enjoy reflecting.
If you weren’t from the group that ignored the signs, the group that represents the vast majority, by the way, you are the group’s prophets. You felt that something was wrong and that it deserved your attention. This group of prophets is divided in two. The first, the least useful, was content to listen to the other prophets. The result was a closed circle of information which, like a virus in a closed population, mutated at high speed, increasing its toxicity with each transmission. Our dear social networks, such as Twitter, certainly play a catalytic role in this social intoxication.
How can we blame them? Evolution has taught us to trust our friends and loved ones by watching and listening to them. After all, although it is every person for themselves, informing others of what we believe to be a danger, the same will surely be returned to us eventually? That must have been the case because we are very good at following other people’s advice. After all, isn’t it easier than looking for yourself? Of course!
To be continued tomorrow…
