Here is a series of fifteen posts about freedom during the COVID-19 crisis. These posts must be read in order, starting with the 6th post would make absolutely no sense to the reader. Enjoy reading and above all, enjoy reflecting.
The current crisis is affecting us in several ways. I would like to take advantage of this moment to let my mind, and yours, move on to the different aspects of our life that are currently being affected and try to see possible prospects in an uncertain future. Through this exercise, we must not be mistaken, nothing we imagine will happen, but what harm can it do? An active mind is a healthy mind. So let’s go!
Our vital needs
Obviously, depending on the country in which you live and the health model in which you live, the response to this element will be different. Here in Canada, our health care system is entirely funded by the state, and therefore by the taxes that businesses, individuals and imports provide. Canadian citizens have a relationship with the health care system just like we do with the air around us. There’s a system, it is there for everyone, I need it, I receive it. Elsewhere, access to health services is the direct responsibility of the customer. Typically, each customer will have taken out health insurance to protect them against major unpleasant surprises. What could come out of this service?
