When eve­ry­thing is han­ging by a thread

Once again, the Sys­tem shows us its fra­gi­li­ty. But why? Let’s see. The Sys­tem is not only com­po­sed of full-time dis­ciples. It consists of all kinds of ideo­lo­gies and waves of thought. Stock mar­kets, on the other hand, are one of the System’s most fas­ci­na­ting achievements.

Stock mar­kets are approa­ched in seve­ral ways. The first is a direct approach. Some people are invol­ved at all times. Employees of a stock exchange com­pa­ny, for example, or hyper­ac­tive inves­tors, fit this type of profile.

Ano­ther approach is the remote approach. Like me, I am pas­sive in this sys­tem, by lea­ving it to others to manage my invest­ments. I have to admit that I have never real­ly had any confi­dence in stock­bro­ker inter­ven­tion. Rather, I think we have, against our will, crea­ted this eco­sys­tem that works. We can name the dif­ferent mecha­nisms we have put in place, but there are so many net­works that it becomes impos­sible to accu­ra­te­ly pre­dict their beha­viour. In the same way that it’s impos­sible to pre­dict the beha­vior of a human and an AI. You have to make do…
