When we distance ourselves
As another day comes to an end, let’s see what Twitter has in store for us. So, yes, I’ve pretty much given up on Facebook and Instagram. I’ve given up on Facebook purely for lack of interest in the platform. I don’t know about you, but Facebook is ageing badly. The interface of the platform seems to be managed by a team lacking in imagination or who are trapped in the cage it has built around itself. Too bad for them, it’s the trap of several programming boxes. Will we eventually see the F come out of GAFA? To be continued.
And as for Instagram, I have to say that I was hoping that Facebook would help the platform. Seriously, it’s a real jungle where our most primitive instincts are at work. And in general, the state of social networks depicts a poor picture of our beloved humanity. Where have civicism and politeness gone? Where are good manners and dignity? Tell them that we have been looking for them for decades.
Anyway, I’m aware that Twitter is good enough for me. I still come across content that I can almost choose, at least choose the sources, and I understand why our politicians are using these platforms more and more to avoid messages being distorted by the media.
Unfortunately, you could say that World Wildlife Day could sometimes strongly apply to us humans…
