When you think you’ve exhausted the source
Soon, in two weeks’ time, it will be one year since I started to let my mind indulge in these daily reflections. Let’s think about it a little. Some things have changed. The format of the texts, the use of daily tags, the addition of comments and some other small adjustments. Of course, I was able to appreciate the writing of all these posts and sometimes exchange with some readers about the content.
More than 133,000 words written on this blog make it the equivalent of a short book. But why did I start or keep going? To answer both questions at the same time, I would say that it’s the continuity that motivates me. The continuation of my manual dexterity on my keyboard. The vivacity of my mind to write the words that are inspired by it. A bit like the musician who freestyles on their instrument.
I will add to that the continuation of the love I have of writing, more so than being read. This blog is a bit like a diary. Moreover, the word blog comes from the compression of the words Web and Log, which literally means an internet journal. But does that mean there’s still something left to write about?
To be continued…
