When things are not equal
I think the unpopularity of the English tag comes from its length. Seriously. Let’s think about it a bit. I did some research this morning on domestic violence, and I stumbled upon some interesting information.
Violence is documented in many ways. About physical violence, I think it would primarily take place in situations of superiority. On the other hand, violence is, in my opinion, a kind of negative energy transfer. The instigator generates it by transforming their emotions into actions. The receiver will also convert action into emotion. Since the receiver is generally in a submissive state, if the violence received continues over time, it will eventually reach a large enough level to in turn be transformed into action against the initial aggressor or someone/something else.
In the case of psychological violence, I would tend to believe that, although also common in its physical form, redirecting violence towards another person is rather widespread.
Far from being an expert on the subject, I can still say that psychological violence is extremely complex. In any case, the human mind is put to the test and its muddled up emotional contents make it hard for us to know what’s happening unless we dive in to try to find out what is in there. Even when we think we have finished putting everything back together, we can never be sure.
