When you have to keep experimenting
In the coming days and weeks, I will start experimenting with new ways of doing things. Let’s see why. It is important to experiment, no one can dispute that, but it is so much easier to not bother. The problem with that is that if we don’t discipline ourselves to allow for experimentation and opportunities for improvement, we simply stop evolving. Of course, we can count on luck to sprinkle some treasure along the way, but wouldn’t that be pitiful? Pitiful for yourself and pitiful for humanity.
I am someone who believes in taking control of our own destiny. Even if at the end of the day, our hypotheses were all wrong, who can blame us for trying? I’m not a scientist per se, but I think I’m open-minded enough to challenge preconceived ideas and propose plausible hypotheses on the surface. And seriously, with a grand total of almost 8 billion human beings on earth, is it not possible to experiment many things? But how can we make sure we aren’t running round in circles, for example, by repeating the same experiments over and over again?
To be continued…
