When time goes by
It’s already been a week since we talked about the quest for time, let’s see where we got to. In last Tuesday’s blog post https://coachdanny.ca/2019/09/17/solomotivation-tuesdaymotivation-14/, we talked about creating time through optimising how we spend our time in the future. Investing 100 hours now can be worthwhile if it allows us to save one hour a day for the rest of our lives. Taking an average age of 40, that would add up to 14,600 hours! Good going, right? But what do we do when we have already optimised several essential areas of our lives?
Where I come from, drinking water is accessible everywhere, and in almost unlimited quantities. Wastewater treatment is done. Food distribution logistics, the energy distribution network, etc., etc., etc. All of this saves us time way more than we can realize. But can you think for a moment about what would happen to the new generation if all of this disappeared? I get the shivers purely just thinking that we have perhaps created a trap that we eventually could fall into ourselves. Therefore, I invite all of you who don’t know how to purify water to make it safe and drinkable to check that you have this information within easy reach.
