Let’s go again with a well-known tag
Monday. Monday is more than simply just a day of the week. It’s a concept. Let’s see what that means. Monday is the first day of a routine. Routines are something I already told you about in this post https://coachdanny.ca/2019/06/21/summersolstice-firstdayofsummer-solomotivation-2/. Remember that routines have two contradictory aspects. Firstly, we like routines. They are any easy way to look into the future, something we want and which no one can deny having developed a dependence towards. Looking into the future gives us a sense of control, and we like that.
Secondly, routines are intrinsically linked to the passage of time. In a routine, time becomes tangible. Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, seasons, years. All these measures of time ensure that we can manage the rhythm of life at one of these units of measurement. For example, does going with the flow inspire you to have a quick or slow rhythm of life? Does a person for whom “every minute counts” make you think of a nervous or a rather calm person?
The concept of Monday is a sign that you are in a routine that has been imposed upon you. Now that you know this, are you bold enough to do anything about it?
