When we have a crush on a tag
Today (well, not really today as I am running behind by a couple of weeks! But anyway…) is the day of booklovers. Let’s have a look at what this is. I’m in love with this tag. I already talked about the power of words in these blog posts https://coachdanny.ca/2019/04/23/worldbookday-4/, https://coachdanny.ca/2019/03/07/worldbookday-2/, but to declare my love for books today, well, it’s quite surprising. First and foremost, I would say that declaring your love for something or someone is a pretty difficult process. It ultimately boils down to disregarding our fear of rejection. This rejection is directly linked to our level 3 motivation (wow, I like to speak in terms of levels, but yes, it is not completely “scientifically correct” :o)) and as you already know, we will always tend to protect any regression from this hierarchy of needs.
In the case of a human being, it is quite obvious that rejection, although it has little impact, is clearly justified depending on the effort and time invested. But when it comes to an object or a theme, it can’t hurt to fall in love with something that does not have the power to reject you.[DT1] So, let all booklovers join us and pluck up the courage to solemnly declare their love for our dear books!

[DT1]Can you explain this sentence please? I would have wrote “what bad does it do to worry yourself over it.” Does it change the meaning? Thanks!
