When facts make thing easier

Curious how Ame­ri­cans took care of Cana­da Day, and now we pay back by kee­ping the Twit­ters­phere alive for the 4^th of July. Let’s think about this. I must admit that gene­ral­ly spea­king and in my opi­nion, I feel like Ame­ri­cans are more patrio­tic than Cana­dians. A star­ting point would be flags. I tal­ked about it on Flag Day. I would like to be able to have a flag at home. I just didn’t pro­ceed yet. I feel that living across the bor­der, I would have one already.

Inde­pen­dence is rela­ted to free­dom. And free­dom is my num­ber one value. With free­dom comes per­so­nal res­pon­si­bi­li­ty and with that comes our eman­ci­pa­tion as a socie­ty. The Sys­tem took advan­tage of the pre-inter­net era. It slow­ly puts its ground in the web, but some­thing is coming to the Sys­tem and it doesn’t see it.

Let’s wish for an Inde­pen­dence Day that could be one of many coun­tries. Let’s hope that some­day, Inde­pen­dence Day will also apply to the Inter­net realm. It is alrea­dy taking grounds in the Cor­po­rate world. Inde­pen­dence makes us focus on real things and avoid buil­ding fake and use­less obsessions.
