Does trust ever exist?
I talked to you about trust in my last post. Let’s dive deeper into this. No need to say that I won’t be able to cover this topic in a single two hundred words post, but could we just clarify what this is all about? What is trust? For a definition, read my last post. What is trust? You may define trust by loyalty. However, if you think about it, you may end up with a discordance.
What about faith? Moreover, reliance? Let’s exclude business relation from this thinking. A way I like to find things from their true natures are through the eyes of myself being a child. When we were a child, there was innocence, no plot, no conspiracy. Life was simple. Who were the people we trusted? First, our parents. The closer they are, the stronger the trust bond is. By their behaviour, we learned not to trust everyone. Either by observing them interact with others or through their warnings. We developed a kind of fear.
Fear. Our deepest survival resort. Fear is at the foundation of us as a living form. Yoda was not that wrong; I would eventually agree with him. “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.” This path is not the path of trust.
