When the world makes you feel tired
How tired I am to wait for the world to change. Unfortunately, conflict (not armed conflict) is an almost necessary way to get things to change. Let’s think about this. A crisis is a moment your mind realize that a change is inevitable. You don’t want it to happen; you don’t want it to exist.
Some cultures are so well organized dogmatically; they can massively setup operation to eradicate novelty and differences. Change means to risk to lose our mechanism proven to work in a normalized environment. Why should it change? This faction wants at all cost exit the crisis state by going back to the initial state.
In the other clan, you have the same setup, people who want to exit the crisis and go forward quickly. The main problem here is that civic respect, and social empathy are missing. To former see the change as a menace and rationalize it in creative ways. The latter is as much creative, trying to raise awareness of their reality.
End up a clash where the rubber band can snap at any moment. The two missing elements I mentioned are the ingredients that make this rubber material flexible and robust against any potential tension. The concept of crisis is there to stay, tolerance for novelty and compassion for grief, both without provocation and with respect is the key to our bright future.
