When motivation is about body and mind
Personally, one of my life conflicts was to consider my mind independent from my body. Let’s think about this. Today and for the whole week, nurses and teachers are thanked for their contribution. It reminds us of how important they are for our well-being. Nurses for their care of our not so strong body. Mutual empathy and civic respect is the key to good health care relationship. Tolerance for pain is extremely variable across humans, and people should be aware of this reality.
It brings me to teachers, teachers of all kind, but mostly general education trainers for this post. General education teaches children different concepts. Unfortunately, humans being what they are, we cannot ask teachers to be robots we adjust to make sure they deliver a “perfect” standard of education. Emotions and reactions are part of learning and teachers have to make their best to manage this reality and make sure knowledge and skills are mastered. Again, civic respect and mutual empathy are essential for parents, students and teachers to have a rich experience.
My last words would go to these workers, telling them to continue their mission. We need them more than ever, and their knowledge and skills will be even more critical in future.
