When motivation must scale to a nation
Solo Motivation is not just a concept that applies to a single person. It is something that can scale and sometime that must scale. Let’s see what it means. Our brothers and sisters from the UK are struggling with a nation wide decision that looks like something other nations know. Here in Quebec, we are looking for the same and as they do. Quebec wants to detach its government layer from Canada, and consequently from the Queen. UK made the opposite move and joined that EU and now are having a hard time detaching from it. Like here, the nation voted, and the decision was on the split line. A half-half decision is the worst democracy can offer. In my opinion, a 50-50 vote (consider it ±5 or 10 whatever) is a clear sign of a no-go decision but a full throttle initiative on clarifying the situation across the population. Stopping the process or taking a decision based on this result would only bring division and conflict, something democracy claims to avoid. Whatever the way took to soften the mind of people to listen to other party arguments, it is essential to make this process happen and with all the possible means. This is how you will scale a healthy solo motivation.
