When pretending helps to get a better world

I’m not a fan of theatre but who didn’t pretend in its young age? It seems that acting is something human appreciate as we found a trace of theatre all around the world. Let’s dive into this. The theatre is something we understand. Even if the marketing of this art doesn’t fit all, its foundations are something we like. But why do we appreciate it? I think that we first like the way it pictures our own emotions. The fact that we see people having empathy for these scenes makes us feel secure. Don’t you think it is incredible to get a social confirmation of how people react toward specific situations? Imagine that these situations would apply to yourself, you can imagine people would react the same. Also, theatre is an excellent way to synchronize ourselves with other people. Presenting a specific situation that needs some social adjustment is a natural way that society has to regulate itself. To conclude, theatre is more than just a simple show we pay for to distract us. It is a way for humans to know each other and to get known by others in a fictional situation. To teach and learn from other spectators, here is an excellent description of theatre in my opinion.
